CV /// With training in architecture and sound engineering, I have been working in film post-production since 2015, specifically in color grading. I started working for DW, doing post-production on pieces about important figures in German culture. In 2015, I did my first director of photography work on the film Der Nowak under the guidance of Ion de Sosa. The film, shot in 16mm, opened the way for me to work with analog material with a very limited dynamic range. Here I began to understand how color works and its subjective perception. My next project was the film Mathuis Marvellous Shop, in which I worked as a colorist and FX artist. The film was shot in multiple formats, including VHS, digital, 16mm, and archival material. In 2019, I worked for Maria Gisele Royo on her documentary about gender violence, La Invisible. In 2023, I am lucky enough to be working in 16mm again on two major indie films, Mamántula, directed by Ion de Sosa and nominated for a GOYA, the Spanish film academy award, for best medium-length fiction film. On the Go, directed by Maria Gisele Royo and Julia de Castro, nominated for the Feroz Awards by the Spanish film press. Both films are shot in 16mm, and Mamántula in particular in 16mm Ektachrome. This format was used in American series in the 1970s because of its great capacity to absorb color saturation. I am currently working on Lorenzo's documentary Aquel Verano del 22 (That Summer of '22) by Lorenzo Sandoval, about the scourge of mining in eastern Spain. I am also working on the film Es Usted Secuestrable by Charli Bujosa Cortés, which will be released in 2027. Another facet of my profession as a colorist is in the performing arts. Since 2023, I have been working with Jone San Martín Astigarraga and Paola Álvarez on the audiovisual design of various contemporary dance works. Anonimous Sense in 2023, and we are currently presenting the work sORDA around the world. In both pieces, I do visual work designing images and videos, as well as stage lighting design. In 2025, I also worked in the field of contemporary dance on Daniel Proietto's work La Gran Conspiración (The Great Conspiracy). Within the television industry, I currently work for the Spanish correspondent of A3 (Atresmedia) in Germany as a color grader and editor.
Intention /// I work from a place of visceral emotion and passion for cinema. Specific processes for each project, films, documentaries, audiovisual artists, contemporary dance, musicians... I love adapting to each author and learning how their work process functions, contributing with technique and creativity.
